Is there any ideas, on this?

Would a service area location will work for an e-commerce store?

Thanks

No sorry. Online only businesses do not even qualify to have a local listing.
It's only available if you meet local clients face-to-face.

And even if they had a local walk-in store PLUS an online store, in the Local rankings they would only rank in the city they are physically in, not any surrounding cities. Does not matter if you set up a wide service area, that won't help your listing show up in other cities.

You wouldn't want to do local for ecomm anyway. The reach is not broad enough.
