I have a client who isn't very tech savvy and tried to do the live video verification himself yesterday. He got frustrated and quit because he thought he would be talking to a person and it appeared to have been a bot. He wants me to help him with the whole thing but I am not sure that I can help him with that part of the process. Personally, I have not done a live verification so I am not even aware of what the process looks like. Could someone please help me understand what happens in a live video verification and how I can, if I can, help my client with this? I believe I saw someone say more than one person can be on the call, how does that work? Thank you for your help.

Hi there!

We have been having to deal with this and heres the best tips I can give you. And you wont be able to help him unless you local to his business

  1. Start from your computer initially via Chrome to access the live chat. This is where you will connect with a Google rep.
  2. You will then move to your mobile device and the support rep will walk you through that process so you can do the live walk through
  3. You can do this initial chat & live walkthrough with them at any time that works for you. Just keep in mind that its available Monday through Friday 9 AM -5 PM
  4. Make sure you have all of your documents ready to go to show them on the live walk through. This means any business license showing your name and address...

Thank you! Do you know if, after the chat, they are speaking to a person or is it a bot? The client I am dealing with is annoyed with the bots. He wants to know if it is an actual person at some point. Thanks again, I really appreciate you helping me.

I believe its a person bc I have seen the chat transcripts for some clients
