Greg Gifford the "Preso Meister" just did another highly entertaining Local SEO presentation at SMX West.

Holy Batman, what a slide deck! If you like strange, crazy and entertaining Hollywood movie references, you'll love this! Enjoy! :)

"The Local Search landscape has changed - especially with the drastic update late last year. Most people are scared of Local SEO, but it's actually not that hard to rank well if you know what to do. This sci-fi themed presentation will explain how the Search Results Page has changed, and also cover the various opportunities to claim multiple results on page one. It also covers the important aspects on on-page optimization, citation building and citation cleanup, and finishes with a quick update on the Google Local Carousel."

And here's his blog post about it at AutoRevo Local SEO: It’s Not Rocket Science

You outdo yourself every time Greg. Thanks for the laugh and the great information!

Hi Linda! I just had a quick question on NAPs.

If one local directory or website has you listed as an address with "Suite 110" and another as "Ste 110" and another as "#110" does that hurt you? Same thing with "Street" and "St", "Avenue" and "Ave", "North" and "N", and so on.
As long as address is technically correct, just different standard address variations I would not worry too much. Google is pretty good at parsing all that.
