Menu Link for Non-Restaurant Listing

I noticed a listing had "Menu" link next to the categories; however the business is a gym. It also shows up in the knowledge panel.



When I click through it's a locu.com places page that shows a map and some information about the services offered at the gym.

Does anyone know if that allowed? Just doesn't seem right to me...

Google integrates Locu "Menus" into local search results and has been for awhile now.

Any type of business can pay to use Locu and get that menu added. The word menu does not make sense for most but "List of Services" would not fit as well on Google.

So it's nothing they did and there is no gaming. I've been meaning to do a post about Locu, so thanks for the reminder.
