No Verify Later option?

Good morning! I work remote from my company but have been able to claim GMB pages and verify later when I coordinate with my supervisor and she is onsite. The most recent client, we were not able to claim and select Verify Later. You had to verify then by phone or text. As I was offsite and she was not with the client, we did not proceed. However, later that day when I was looking at the list of GMB clients I manage, that new listing was on my page. Any insights on this?

Are you saying it is now showing as verified?

No, it has the red circle with exclamation point with Verify Now next to it. But typically I would claim locations on behalf of a client and then my local contact would be all set when they verified onsite.
