Hello everyone,

I recently found out that starting November 4th, Google will be banning locksmiths from advertising on Google Ads. This industry has always been very competitive, and at times, problematic, with a lot of money involved.

Has anyone here experienced a similar shift in other sectors? Do you have any ideas for strategies or ways to adapt and potentially make the most of this opportunity? Locksmiths will likely be in need of new services to maintain their visibility.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanks in advance for your input.

Seems like a lot of "free" search real estate will be opening up for locksmiths in November.

Not sure if this is just for Google Ads, or LSA too, but if it is only Google Ads I would make sure you have a solid strategy for LSA and possibly shift some budget to that source.

Beyond that, organic visibility in maps and natural search will be crucial. SEO for locksmiths can be hard, but if you focus on keywords you CAN improve rankings for vs ones that are too competitive you can get an advantage over the competition.
