Plumber Near Me - Google trends interesting

This is an interesting search I did on Google trends. . . .

The general increase is something I see in every near me search. What is interesting are the periodic dips. I have to wonder if this is more related to auto-copmlete doing some weird things? I just can't imagine that actual human search volume would fluctuate that much, especially when the main term "plumber" is pretty steady.

Yeah. Though I'm not surprised that the "interest" dips, I'm surprised at how big the fluctuations are. That's not as much the case for "electricians near me," for example.

My guess is we're seeing seasonality + some weird factor. If you look in Trends for "Christmas lights" Google sure seems to get the seasonality right. Likewise if you look in Trends for "accountant near me" (sure enough, a bump every year before April).
