We’re a mental health practice in Northern Virginia with two locations—one in Ashburn and one in Reston. We have more than three providers on our team. For local SEO, I thought it would help to create as many listings and keyword-rich pages as possible, so I made Google Business profiles, social media pages, and directory listings (like BBB and Yellow Pages) for each provider and for the main business at each location—so a total of 8 listings. All of these listings currently use the same address and phone number (4 use the Reston location address, 4 use the Ashburn location address, and all 8 use the same business phone number)Recently, someone mentioned that using the same contact info across all these listings could make them look like duplicates or spam to Google, and that I should use different addresses (virtual addresses) and phone numbers instead. Now I’m unsure—should I continue making separate listings for each provider at each location to increase visibility, or should I stick to just one listing per physical location and only create additional provider listings if I can assign them unique phone numbers and/or virtual addresses?

This is another bad myth that needs to die. Google wants you to have separate phone numbers be GBP. This is not a spam signal at all. Too many people weigh in on Local SEO when they should remain quiet. Make sure the main GBP and the providers have different primary categories. They can filter out the other profiles.
