I agree that the review originally posted, looked rather too much like the reviewer had a vested interest.
But even the great and good have been known to err sometimes.
I can remember the first time I saw a Google Review with the 'best ever' rosette, posted on someone's Places page. It had been posted there by Andrew Shotland... on his own Places page!

P.s. There are no dodgy entries on Andrew's page now; so I assume that it was just an experiment.

I can't find a way to add an image to review. Not on the iPhone app or on my desktop. Does anyone know of a currently working method for adding an image to a review?

I think it can be done using Google Maps for Android.
