Hey guys. We have a client asking why their Google Star rating and number of Reviews in one of their Ads that is showing up in the Map is different from their Star rating and number of Reviews in their Knowledge Graph. Is this because of a lag in Google's AI/Algorithm that hasn't updated the data? Thanks.

Hi, @MoneypennyCO

Could you take screenshots and post them here? Also, is this an issue for their GMB listing in the regular results (not the ad showing in Maps)

The Ad with the Star ratings in it is not showing up right now so I can't do a screenshot. We believe the slight disparity in the score is simply a delay on Google's end in updating the data.

That's a possibility, but new to me. Ads showing in local are directly linked to the GMB listing as a location extension.

I'm interested to see if anyone else has heard of this.
