I watched a webinar last week about the Maplabs tool. They mentioned that GMB listings managed by in Maplabs can be locked to prevent community edits.
Has anybody tried this feature? If so, do you recommend it?
I have a client listing I manage that keeps getting its website address removed from GMB. I assume that it's being done by an unscrupulous competitor as a community edit.
I have to keep going back to GMB to re-add the website and even though I'm an owner, it is usually marked as a pending change.
Would the lock feature help stop that? I was also wondering whether any API based GMB management tool like Yext or Moz Local could accomplish the same lock.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to the local search community.
