What type of Knowledge Graph is this and how is it populated?

I am curious as to what type of Knoweldge Graph this is (if there is a term for it) and how it populates?

Does anyone know where the information comes from (Wikidata, Press Releases or news stories that are authoritative, etc).or how to trigger it (might not be anything you can trigger but rather sources that you can feed to make it pop). I understand that Google's Algo would populate it, but I was curious what profiles to create to have a better chance of popping it.

I have seen this many times and thought someone might be able to shed a little more light on it.
