I have a couple things I'm trying to figure out — but first, on a profile, where else does Google pull services information from? We have a client that noticed when searching for his primary offering, the services list is not really what he would want to show up...I assumed what shows up is just the order of what we have in the dashboard. But no, it's listing things that aren't even in the services section nor am I finding the wording of some things on his site. That led me to do an incognito search — when I did the incog search, the services ARE what we've put in the dashboard.

1) Why would the incognito show the services as they have been set and in the order they have been set?
2) Why/how does Google get info for services that we're not finding anywhere on the site? (Third party listings maybe?)
3) Why would regular search and incognito search show different sets of services? Multiple of us (in different states) have recreated the exact listing of services so it doesn't appear to be being personalized?

Regular search: (what I underlined is terminology we don't have on the site that I can find)

Incognito search:

I can't really speak to why the order of the services differs between incognito and when you are signed in.

As for your second question, “Why/how does Google get info for services that we are not finding anywhere on the site?”

Google pulls this information from a variety of places, including third party sites and social media. So if that underlined service is not on the website, it is probably on another site that mentions your business. You can ask support to remove it, but if you do not know the source it might get added back.

Could you share a link to the profile?
