Why GBP “Confirm” Button Keeps Loading (No Update Happens) Anyone Notices...!!!

Hello GBP Experts,

Whenever I edit Business Information → More → Service Options, and click Confirm, the button starts loading but the update never completes.
Check screenshot below.

The screen remains stuck with the loading spinner, and I must refresh the page. After refresh, none of the changes are saved.
It that any technical glitch or bug in GBP UI? Has anyone else experienced the Confirm button stuck loading?

I would appreciate any insights or solutions from the community or Product Experts.

This is usually a bug and you need to wait a day or so for it to clear up.

But how long I have to wait. I have seen this bug since last 4 months. And Google is still not working on this issue.

As long as you don't press confirm at the bottom, the edits should actually save and you shouldn't need to do anything. This bug has been around for around 6 months already so I'm not sure if Google is fixing it anytime soon.

It's been around longer than that. It's in the bug compendium I posted back in 2023 (listed as "Nonfunctional "confirm google suggestions" button bug"). I seem to recall the solution listed in that compendium doesn't work anymore though.

That's weird that its been seen from a long time and yet Google business profile team hasn't seen this and still not resolved.

I bet they are aware of this issue. There are several possible reason why it’s not being fixed.
1. Not a high enough priority
2. A lack of resources to tackle all of the challenges facing the product
3. It’s a free service
4. Maybe it’s intermittent and not impacting enough people.

I have certainly seen this one.......Its a little annoying but I have learned to not sweat it.....
