I think it's the first time I have seen Angi and Yelp as options under "People also search for"

I have seen this before when doing brand searches for large brands (like Home Depot, Walmart ect) but never for a "near me search". Nice find!

Definitely agree, probably an effort by Google to offer some type of "compromise" in an effort to avoid forced legislation. I can only imagine how impactful Google LSAs are on Angie's business as the LSAs are at the very top. Since Google implemented LSAs, our clients that had previously been using or currently using Angie, all have/had Angie sponsored listings on Google's LSA bar. Good catch @Professor M, I'll be on the lookout for the same .
