Client gets verified with a video and then a month later they are unverified again. The business is legit, everything Google is looking for. It couldn't be better. No error message. No warning. Nothing. Why is this happening and how do we make it stop?
 
Are they making any edits to the listing monthly that could be triggering this? Is the GBP connected to any 3rd party API that has access to make edits to the listing? Sometimes Google will make a business reverify to confirm they are indeed located where they say they are, and sometimes edits can trigger this, especially major edits like website, phone number, name, and address.

Hah. I think you nailed it. I suspect it was a phone number change. Long story about why that got changed more than once, but it did. I'm instructing my client now to LEAVE IT ALONE! :) Thanks, Joy.
