Competitor Using Our Name & Buying Fake Reviews...

Here is the run down.


We have a competitor who has decided to make their name similar to ours to profit off of the 5 figure bill we send to Adwords every month by creating tons of fake locations and boosting their business with over 50 fake reviews. You will notice that these fake reviews mention all types of nonsense ranging from furniture, to random peoples names, to just down right spammy one sentence junk. When looking at the accounts that posted the reviews, you will see that the majority of them have other reviews in countries on the other side of the world. They have added over 50 reviews in the last few weeks and customers are starting to question our companies legitimacy based on these reviews and confusing locations that look similar to ours.

Please help us out, it's making us look incredibly bad. We are registered with the state of Florida as Plantation Shutters Inc. So our customers are highly confused at this point and we have even had cancellations.

Hi Jason. Welcome to the forum and sorry you are going through this very unfortunate situation with these scammers!

Looks like Joy already escalated this over at the GMB Community, so I'm hoping Google will nip this in the bud quickly.
