If a listing is found for a company at a previous address, but you already have a new listing with the new address, how would this be handled? There's concern that if the old address listing is marked as 'permanently closed' it could cause confusion for users who may happen across the listing. If I suggest an update to the address, then there would be a true duplicate in Google with no guarantee that we could get support to merge them. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The only other option, and it doesn't always work, is to ask GMB support to "move" the old listing into the current one. That solves the problem of "'permanently closed' it could cause confusion for users who may happen across the listing"
