Client had to re-verify his service area business, which was finally resolved But instead of re-verifying clients listing it appears that Google made a new listing. New listing has the same website url, same photos, etc. as original listing but no reviews. Both original and new listing show up in Google search.

Here's the strange part: client has only ever had 1 gmail, and in fact has recently received several emails about Google reviews. He is able to click on link in emails to respond to reviews. But when he signs in to Google, he can only access 'new' listing which has no reviews. Any help would be appreciated!

Can I ask what he did? Did he try to go from a service area business to having his address listed on his profile?
No, nothing like that. Business is an SAB, and has been around for years. During Florida hurricanes apparently Google decided that FL garage door SABs needed to re verify.

It took several months to get through that mess and finally get verified, only to end up with this situation.

Thanks, yes that's what I thought too - a bug. It's been over 2 weeks since we sent Google support info, and so far no response.

Do you think we should resubmit info, or try to contact Google? I've had some fun times in the past trying to get anywhere by calling them...any suggestions? thanks :)
