Google Local Carousel Photos ? You Might Be Screwed

Greg Gifford did a good post with some warnings about carousel images over at the RankHammer blog.

Lots of great images, some a little PG and he makes some really good points!

But of course, carousel or not, you always need to carefully choose your photos and watch over the listing vigilantly to be sure Google or users don't add images you don't want. It can happen to the best of us, even those not in the carousel. Plus who knows maybe some day we'll all be in the carousel.

Seriously – you might already be screwed, and not even know it. Yep, I said it… hold on to your seats, folks – this post is rated PG-13 for language and adult situations. It’s long, and it’s got a lot of photos – but stick with it, and you’ll see how crazy this problem really is.

The new Google Local Carousel still has everyone feeling a bit wonky. We’re not really sure how it’s all going to end up, but it’s clear that the Local Carousel is going to drastically change the way that people conduct local searches.
