Google Places - Confusion

Hi i'm a bit confused on the current situation with google places and bulk uploader.

So when you create new google places listings via google places bulk uploader, it creates a google local plus page for each store and the information on the google local plus page can be controlled via the bulk upload feed.

Also images can be added with the bulk upload feed.

Is this correct?

What can't you do with google bulk uploader?

Sorry Matt, I have next to no experience with bulk uploads. Hopefully someone else can weigh in.
