I've posted this in the support forum but never received any feedback, hoping might get some answers here:

I'm in Jacksonville, FL, and when I search for "Suddath Moving & Storage" or similar terms on Google Maps, the map listing TITLE incorrectly shows "Suddath Relocation Systems of Oregon, LLC."

There are local Suddath branches here in Jacksonville, and this Oregon title is confusing.

How do we get Google to correct this? The branch info is correct and shows up correctly in Jacksonville, it's just the Oregon Places title is incorrect.

First question is: what is that highlighted/title section called or referred to as in the Google search ecosystem?

Second question: where is Google pulling that from? There is an Oregon LLC for Suddath, but that is based in Portland, literally across the country — Jacksonville is Suddath's HQ and does not make sense that it would say Oregon except that some data sources are being mixed up/cross-referenced.

Final question: how do we get this corrected? Unlike with the actual GBP locations, there is no suggest an edit option. When you click the three dots all you get is info about the search results and the ability to do an advanced search

Any help is greatly appreciated!

@valentinb13 - I saw your post in the forum! At the time, I wasn't sure what to make of it. Now, I have an idea.

Generally, when you search for a multi-location business by name you'll get a pack listing several of the locations. Note that the title on the pack is "Places".

If Google recognizes the locations as part of a chain, the 3-pack changes. Each location is labeled as A, B and C, and the title on the pack changes from "Places" to "<business name> locations".

Google has obviously identified your GBP as part of a chain and is pulling the business name from somewhere. I see it in the source code of the website homepage.

Code:
data-title="Suddath Relocation Systems of Oregon, LLC"

I did notice that the title changes from "Places" to a "Business Name" but didn't put the 2+2 together on that it does that when it's identifying multi-locations.

I am aware that "Suddath Relocation Systems of Oregon, LLC" is in the source code, but so is a lot of there other branches, such as "...of Texas, LLC", etc...additionally on a lot of paperwork, registrations, etc...the Jacksonville branch (815 S Main St) is identified as the main/HQ for the corporation. I have found documentation online showing the different LLCs using the Jacksonville as the registration/corporate address.

Do you think it would be wise to remove those locations from the homepage source code?
