Would love to hear some of your favorite local search operators for gaining local links and finding great synergistic connections between your clients and local events, organizations, sponsorships, etc.

Here are a couple I've used:

To find local hotels' "things to do" lists:
site:examplehotel.com intitle:"things to do" [city or place]
(you could swap out "things to do" for something like "local guide")

To find nearby Meetup.com groups without sponsors:
site:meetup.com "this group does not have sponsors right now" [city or place]
