Recently got advise that long meta titles Can increase rankings but I dont see any examples. Anybody has a example with search keyword targetted to show how to properly target these. Specifically for Local Service Business.

For eg. Pressure Washing Near me. Located in Houston. Offering multiple service like House wash driveway cleaning, roof cleaning etc.

Or for a service area page> Pressure-washing-houston-tx (url), primary keyword ins Pressure washing houston tx. What should be example title.

"Pressure washing in houston tx: patios, driveways, hardstanding, steps, roofs and fencing. Same day service"

It might work, it might not. Depends on how Google is feeling.

Whilst the title is a very important ranking signal it's just one of many. Your page content and site structure can have a far greater effect.

Did you read the quality rater guidelines? It's all properly explained in the document.

I am a business owner can you explain "quality rater guidelines"
I gave you the link in your thread about internal linking:

If you want to do your own SEO it gives you a deep understanding on how Google ranks a webpage.

To do SEO well you need to read and research. Lots of it. And follow as many blogs about SEO as you can find. You will spend more time doing this than you will staining fences. Or you pay someone to do it for you in just that same way you expect homeonwers to pay you for something they could do themsellves.

There is nothing in the Google Raters Guidelines regarding Meta Tags or Page Title Attributes. Where the guidelines do come into play with regard to title information is that the text on the page (the header) must not be misleading.

The standard over the years has been 50-60 characters is what Google displays (I've always used 50-55). The reason for the range is that Google actually has a pixel display cutoff length of around 600px, and since W or M is wider then I, that's why we have the range of characters. If you have lots of skinny letters, then you can fit more.

All that said, I made a video in August 2021 about Google rewriting titles in search results - so somewhere around that time, people started making longer title attributes. After all, Google will sometimes extract information from the page title attribute, or it may pull data from H Tags or content on your site itself.

Do we use the longer versions? Nope. I still trim down to the 55 max length. I have not seen any influence of keywords in longer titles having a noticeable impact.

If you decide to go with a longer version, that's fine, just be sure that the meat of your info is in the first 55 characters so that way if Google does cut it off with an ellipsis (...), then at least your user is not left in the dark as to what they're clicking on.
