IN past 24 hours we had two separate clients have something happen with their GBP when apparently it was unlinked at some point. We got notifications that the listings now were showing as duplicates. So the owners gave us access back but now all of the photos and posts are gone. More here from our PPC team
Over the past month, LSAs were unlinked from their associated GBP if there was a mismatch in the business name or address due to an initiative by Google to enhance trust & verification along with standardizing business information. The account specialist was required to correct the discrepancy and re-link the GBP. However, when an LSA is unlinked, Google often auto-generates a new GBP through the LSA login account, leading to duplication issues like this one
Everything else in the name/address/website/hours/etc section repopulated(in fact they show now as an update by Google) but all of the other content we had on there is gone
Has anyone had anything like this happen? ANy way to get that info back or do we have to manually readd it all?
