Map Pin Does Not Show When Business Owner Googles Their Address

I have a client who will not accept any answers I give him.

"When I type my business address into Google the map marker doesn't show. Why not?"

I've responded with - "People do not search by address, they search by a brand or a need. Also, if you type your business name in, your listing is right up top. And, Google does not always put pins for every business with that type of address search".

Has anyone else had a client ask this question? If so, how did you respond?

Hi @KimW Place Labels are technically different than a plain ol map pin but the way they are influenced should be similar to what is described in this article - Place labels on Google Maps - Google My Business Help

Can you share the business details/address? Are there a lot of businesses at the same address?
