We've recently noticed that several of our clients' tracking URLs are missing from GMB. When they try to add them back in, they show as pending, but never are approved. Is this a glitch, or is Google not allowing tracking URLs any longer? I can't find anything about this on any forums or articles.

Thanks Rich, I read that article. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this happening in the last few weeks.

We've had that happen a bunch of times with different clients – some would keep some would change — then I think we figured out if the URL we were placing in the dashboard didn't match the canonical URL it would strip the UTM.

i.e., if we put in http://site.com/utm? but the site was actually https:// – then the UTM would get stripped out. Basically if the URL in the dashboard goes through any redirect it was stripping out the tracking.
