Greetings,

Two of my GMB listings have been suspended since 3rd August, when I have immediately applied for reinstatement followed with photos and documents.

Then on 22nd August I have received this response from Google:

"Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Google Business Profile team.
Your query has been escalated to our specialist team, which will perform a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the suspension.
We appreciate your patience while your query is being looked into.
If you have any further questions please consult the Google Business Profile Help Center.
Thanks,
Google Business Profile Support"

Now is 8th of September :(
Any suggestions on what should I do? Should I reply them something on the last email I've received from them, or to post on google forums?

You will need to wait for the team to complete their investigation. Some industries require a deeper and longer investigation.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is respond to the email and ask for an update. If you still haven't heard an update in a week, contact support and give them the case ID and ask them for an update. Reinstatements are taking forever right now.

Do they always provide a case ID? I had a client claim they submitted a reinstatement, but they cannot find the case ID or any confirmation email from Google.

Yes, you get the case ID sent to you via email usually about 10-15 minutes after you submit the form. If they don't have one, try filling out the reinstatement form again.

Hello Everyone,
I so appreciate this forum. It gives me solace to be in the same boat, albeit The Titanic.. My listing has been suspended since 8/29. I filled out the form, attached supporting docs, etc. Is this process taking this long usually? My cooking classes are held in my home, but I also conduct demos and classes off-premise, thus, my business is hybrid, and I do list Service Areas in addition to my address. Does anyone think this might be the problem? Thank you in advance for any insight and all the best to you all!

If you don't have permanent signage, you can't show your address. Google will reject the reinstatement for that. So do you have permanent signage at your home address?

Thank you for your reply. No, I do not. Classes are held in my condo; I've been at my location for six years, and my address in GBP clearly shows my home address with apartment number. So, does this mean it's will be a hard no? What a gut punch.

Thank you so much. I just removed the address, and just the service areas remain. Do I now wait for Google or will it automatically be reinstated? I am so lost with all of this, and grateful for guidance.

You will need to wait for Google to reply to your reinstatement request. I am hearing that it is taking 3 to 5 weeks to hear back.

Hello Everyone,
It has now been 22 days since Google acknowledged my reinstatement request. I hope someone can clear up the following: There are companies that said they can reinstate my listing even though I haven't heard back from Google. The fees quoted range from $350 to $700. That's a lot for me to afford, especially since my phone hasn't had a single business-related call since Aug. 29th. I have already, as suggested on this forum, removed my home address and kept my Service Area, as I also provide off-premise services. Any updated guidance is much appreciated. Thank you!

I heard back on one that I submitted August 23 last week so I would anticipate you'd hear back this week.

Usually, it's worthwhile to hire a company if you think your request is going to be denied. I wouldn't suggest hiring one if your only objective is to speed up the process but you can always ask companies you're talking to what their current turnaround time is lately.
