Need help getting access to Google Business Profile APIs

Hello!

In short we're trying to build a Google Business Profile Manager. However, we've requested access to Google Business Profile APIs via the recommend form: Google Business Profile API Support - Google Business Profile Help

I was turned down. However, my boss was approved and received the following email:

[ "Hello,

This is to inform you that a new Agency API key has been generated for... " Project etc... ]

But upon reviewing his projects and trying to access the Google Business Profile APIs. I don't see any new API's nor the specific ones we'd need.

Is there levels of Agency Access. I'm just curious if anyone has any insight to provide on this matter would be very helpful!

I recommend reaching out to Google's API support through either a support form in your account, or the form you linked to under "General API Questions".

Hey Austin,

Getting access to the Google Business Profile API was one of the most challenging processes I’ve encountered in my 10+ years of development. Based on my experience, I have the following insights:

1. I’ve never received an email like the one you mentioned that directly resulted in GMB API access. It sounds more like agency-level Developer Console access rather than direct API approval.
   
   
2. Even after API access was officially granted, I had to manually submit additional requests(Link) to enable specific GMB API endpoints. Have you tried doing that yet?
