Ranking report tool for organic SERP on a Grid report layout

Most SEO's on this forum are familiar with Local Pack ranking reports that show how a client GBP ranks over a radius or "grid" for specific search phrases. Popular examples of such tools are Brightlocal's Local Search Grid report, Places Scout, Local Falcon, and Local Viking. Then there are the equivalent tools/reports that show the organic Search Engine Ranking Position aka SERP (typically below the Local Pack) for specific search phrases for a website. Examples include BrightLocal's Local Rank Tracker report, and similar solutions from Ranktracker, AccuRanker, SE Ranking, Whitespark, Ahrefs, Moz Pro, Semrush.

What I'm looking for is a Grid Report format but for organic SERP, not GBP ranking on Local Map Pack. The reason being, is that SERP does sometime vary based on the location of where the search is performed. Not always and sometimes not significantly, but it does vary depending on several factors such as the search terms being used. I believe that Semrush offers something like this, but based on my initial research it appears rather pricey. Also, I've not had consistent/accurate ranking using Semrush's local grid and SERP tools, when compared against the competition and also when spot checking manually, so I'm a little pessimistic of their accuracy.

Does such a reporting tool exist?

Also, its impossible to spot check manually to confirm any rank tracker's accuracy. Rankings vary by so many factors: browser, device, IP, personalization, time of day. You should expect to see different results from the rank tracker (or from your neighbor) every time.

Thank you Darren, I'll check it out! I agree about the factors, we've seen even with the same reporting tool running just minutes later, you can get some variation. However, what I was referring to is high inaccuracy not just specific points. When the entire grid shows #1, consistently, on the local pack for a specific GBP, when that simply is not the case, I find that inaccurate and not dependable. When we encounter a questionable grid or SERP report, we have several ranking tool subscriptions (including Whitespark ) that we'll do comparative reports and they should be "relatively" consistent or using valentin.app to spot check specific questionable points. Our main toolset is Brightlocal, and we've caught report inaccuracies this way, that they have acknowledged and corrected in those cases.

Sounds like you understand the variance and have a good system for double checking. It's definitely the case that the rank trackers get buggy sometimes!

PlacesScout does offer organic heatmaps. You need to select the drop down to switch between map pack and organic.
