About 2 months ago I converted a profile to a service-area business (employment/recruiting agency, verified, no suspension). In the dashboard it's set correctly: business location shows "No location; deliveries and home services only," the "show business address to customers" toggle is off, and the service area is set (8 cities around the region).
The problem: on the public profile in Search and Maps, it still shows the old street address and "Located in [building name]," 2 months later. The dashboard says no address, the public profile still displays it. There's no pending or under-review banner anywhere.
The catch: I can't just toggle the address back on to reset it. The old address is a professional office the business doesn't staff and has no signage at, so flipping the address back to visible triggers a reverification video I have no way to complete. That makes removing/re-adding the service area or re-showing the address feel like a big risk that could leave the profile worse off than it is now.
Background: the profile is older but was dormant when I took it over (2 reviews, a Street View car photo of a strip mall that isn't even where they operate). I've since built it up to 30 reviews and cleaned it up.
Questions:
- Is this the known issue where an SAB conversion doesn't propagate and the old address keeps showing publicly?
- How do I get the old address to drop WITHOUT triggering a reverification I can't pass?
- Is there a support path for this, or anything that forces the public profile to re-sync with the dashboard?
Thanks,
Bryan
