Sitewide design element w/ text = duplicate content?

Hi, a site I'm working on has a sitewide section where their specialties are broken out into 12 tiles. Right now the tiles just have the specialty name, but I'd like to include a small blurb describing the specialty if possible. However, at 1 or 2 sentences per tile for 12 tiles, is that going to create a duplicate content issue since it will be appearing sitewide? Thanks.

I don't see this being an issue as long as the pages have tons of other content on them in addition to this section.

If you're only including a small snippet from a different page for each tile, along with a link to that page, I don't see this as an issue either. Not a duplicate content issue, anyway. It may be an issue for user experience depending on how it's implemented.
