Website Linked to GBP Listing Not Appearing in Search Results

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a strange issue with my Google Business Profile listings and would love some insight.

I have multiple GBP listings under my account. When I link my website x.com.au in the “Website” field of a listing, that listing does not appear in Google Search results—neither in the local pack nor with the map. However, when I clone the same website to a different domain, y.com.au, and link that instead, everything works fine: the listing shows up in search with the map.

This leads me to believe the issue isn’t with the website code or structure—it seems to be domain-related.
Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

• x.com.au is not blacklisted anywhere (checked via multiple blacklist tools)
• No security issues or manual actions reported in Google Search Console
• The site is indexed and accessible

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a domain trust issue, or something else entirely? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, the domain appears in search results and is also available on the map. The issue lies specifically with the URL—it’s not visible. Everything else seems to be working well.

Then it could just be Google being Google and doing weird stuff.
