Please let me preface this by saying that is not a review reply, but an actual reply to a BBB complaint.

This is a reply from a business that loves to buy fake positive reviews. I love irony.

Hey fake reviewer scumbag you really are stupid.jpg

So Darren Shaw of @whitespark shared on FB how a business was keyword stuffing the name, description, and Google posts. They only replied to a few reviews three years ago, and they didn't disappoint.

The "I’ll See You in Court" Strategy

Nothing kills a brand faster than an owner threatening a defamation lawsuit over a 2-star review.

  • The Vibe: High-strung and litigious.
  • Example: "We have tracked your IP address and our legal team will be serving you with a defamation suit by Monday. Enjoy your 'bland' tacos while you can."
  • Why it fails: It makes the owner look unstable and usually triggers the "Streisand Effect," drawing 10x more attention to the negative review.
