As many of you know, underneath the review rating in the local pack is the "Years in Business."

This information is taken from the "Opening Date."

The issue I'm having is that this is misleading. If a business that has been around for a decade recently moved into a new office, it won't reflect that they've been in business for 10+ years.

I'm curious to get others thoughts on this. Should you put the correct information for the opening date or put when your business was established?

If the business moved, you can use the original opening date.

Thanks Joy. To clarify, you can use the date for when the business was established and not when you first moved into that address? If that's the case, that's terribly misleading the way they worded that (in my opinion).
