Hi Moclin,

Welcome to the forum, I'm not entirely sure what your question is... but I'm going to take a stab at it.

What I *think* you're asking about with the 'post code' is known as 'Place Labels', these are chosen by Google's local algo, there's not much you can do to get one aside from getting your business-data clean (claiming your listing is a good place to start) and hoping you win one. You can learn more about them here: https://support.google.com/business/answer/6056435?vid=0-534460971922-1484601306956

To help with your business data I'd probably recommend setting your schema up to be scoped for at least LocalBusiness (https://schema.org/LocalBusiness). You may be able to get more granular (https://health-lifesci.schema.org/MedicalBusiness OR deeper https://health-lifesci.schema.org/Podiatric), but glancing at your site it looks like you've got a lot going on there (service-wise), with not very much going on there content-wise (on the root page) which may be a bigger problem to work through for users landing there.

Your address and phone aren't listed anywhere on the home page. If I landed on that page, simply finding a number to call appears to be at least a 2-step process (and potentially a lost conversion).

Anyway, hopefully this is helpful.

Cheers,

Hi Heckler

Thanks for taking the time to reply - all solid advice there!

Place labels is correct yes. Their business listing is claimed, verified and fully filled in. However, there is probably room for improvement, such as uploading loads more photos - something I've requested from my client previously to no avail.

Their NAP consistency across the web is good so I can't see this being the issue.

Schema markup is a great shout, I'll look to get this implemented (pending approval from client)

Thin content on the homepage is something else I raised with my client from day one but he's had difficulties communicating with the web designer. I'll re-raise the issue as I think this could be a big contributing factor to the place label issue, as well as having a negative effect on conversions. The design of the homepage is also the reason for no contact details on the homepage.

I'll let you know how I get on with (hopefully) implementing all of the above.

Thanks again - really appreciate it :)
