Found this article over the holidays and wonder if anyone had any thoughts on it
"Apple has been working on a huge rebuild of Apple Maps in the US over the last year and a half. Now that the updates are rolled out across the country, Apple Maps uses only data it’s collected itself, can push updates in realtime, and features much more detail for users."
Wonder if this will mean apple maps connect will gain further functionality which would be beneficial for smaller clients who don't have the budget to use a tool like Yext or Uberall
Interested to see if this change will impact the local ecosystem and waiting of data sources within it
