Client Moved - Google Won't Accept Edits, Keeps Asking for Video Verification

We have a client who recently moved to a nearby city within the same state (under 20 miles away). We had talked about a plan to update their info in stages to help GBP, but they got excited and went straight in to make edits to the address.

Now the GBP is still active and acting like a verified listing with the old address, but is requesting video verification before accepting new edits or posts.

They have completed video verification 3 times. The verification is accepted, but then the profile resets shortly after and requires verification again. The new address does not show.

We've pushed citation edits, updated Bing, Apple Maps, etc. Hopefully that helps Google believe the edits (eventually).

Is there anything else the client can do along with video (again), or are they stuck waiting for a while?

Contact GBP support as they need to fix the issue on their end.

What is the current status of the profile? Is it verified at the old address, or is it in "Verification required" status?

If its not verified, you can use this tool to check your verification status - it should give you the option to contact Google support, and that will get you to a team that can help you with the issue or set up a live video verification. You may need to play around with the flow a bit to get the “contact us” option but this tool is the best way to get in contact with the RIGHT team at Google who can actually help with verification issues.
