Delay time before moving on in GPB edits

Hello,

I constantly do some edits to my GBP in the hope they would help with the rankings. I don`t see much progress often times but the question is how long it takes for the edits to take action (if they will be). In other words, how long should I wait after the edits either to roll them back or to do something else?

It depends on what you are editing because not everything you can edit impacts ranking. Editing the primary category, name or services, for instance would impact ranking almost immediately. On the other hand, editing the business description would not impact ranking.
