Duplicate GBP, and Added city to the Verified GBP...became Unverified and then next day Suspended.

Client has a new GBP in fact he has two one verified and the other not. Then last week Google requested it to be verified again and then the next day it was Suspended! He did have his company name - City, his local city, but so does 99% of his competition have the same - City in their GBP Company Names. Was this more of an issue with the Duplicate listing, or the stuffing the city or both? Anyway it's suspended. And I removed the "- City" from the suspended profile already. So all we need to do is proceed with the suspension process... Any recommendations?

IMO, getting reinstated boils down to the paperwork. Of course you need to make sure everything on the profile complies with the Guidelines, but that's usually a quick process. It's getting the right documentation that takes time and that matters most.

Google's "official list" of docs is now:

• Official business registration
• A business license
• Tax certificates

You should have at least one of those, but if you can get two or three, even better.

Make sure the business name and address on the docs match what's on the profile!

While they're not on the "official list", I recommend photos of signage, utility bills, link to an accredited BBB profile, etc.
