Editing a G+ Business Page

I'm trying to edit a G+ page but i keep being directed back to the dashboard - i thought once a page was merged that all edits had to be made from EDIT in the page - not dashboard?

They both have dashboards so not clear about what you mean.

You are saying you are trying to edit in the G+ Business page dash and it sends you to the Places dash?
