Everyone in the Google Local space knows the hot mess that Google Reviews are in and we have a ton of posts about it here at the Local Search Forum. So I won't rehash all the problems.

Today wanted to add some levity to this very sad and very frustrating situation by sharing a great Comigraphic from Mike Ramsey at Nifty Marketing.

Why Small Businesses Hate Google+ Local (Comigraphic)

<a href="http://niftymarketing.com/why-small-businesses-hate-google-plus-local/"><img src="http://marketing-blog.catalystemarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/ReviewComic.jpg" alt="Google Reviews" title="Google Reviews" width="496" height="535" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6729" /></a>

Head over to Nifty Marketing to see the whole infographic/comigraphic.

It's long. It's funny. And it's kinda sad!

PS Love the fact he even got a dig in for dupes! (As you know, dupes R the bane of my existence!) :p

Thanks Linda.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry - probably cry actually as the system is just so inflexible, buggy and unfair sometimes. I suppose we have to laugh to keep up our spirits up and get through the minefield, so thanks for this!

True Nick!

If anyone has review problems and wants links to the best posts with solutions, just let me know and I'm happy to share. OR see a couple related posts at bottom of this page OR use the search box on top right.

Well at least their customers came to the premises, so were allowed to show their address and merge their Places page with their Local G+ Page.
Spare a thought for the poor old small business owners driving ice cream trucks instead - no reviews, no merge, and 3 punctures per week ;)
