Google switches from thumbs to hearts

I was looking at a GBP, and Google replaced the thumbs up with a heart. They added the text, "Hover to react."

He means that the icon for the reactions has changed. It's either a test or not deployed in other languages, 'cause I still see the thumb up in Quebec:

I wonder if the "Hover to react" is setting the stage for a menu of reactions similar to Facebook and LinkedIn where users can have some variety in their reaction; including a "negative" reaction option in lieu of only positive support.
