How long does it take for the pin on Google maps to be removed?

Hi,

We have a business profile that we no longer operate in that area and need to mark it as permanently closed. Do you guys know how long it takes for Google to remove our pin from the Google Maps?

Have you suggested an edit to mark it as permanently closed, or made that edit in the dashboard? If you have access to the profile, you can update it in your dashboard, and it will be updated within 24 to 48 hours.

If you do not have access, do a map edit and then check if it got approved by using this link
