Sole Proprietor vs Personal Account

I am a sole proprietor/lawyer and I have a google listing for me and one for my business, Denman Law Office. I have cultivated reviews at the listing for Denman Law Office. Lately, my personal google listing has been popping up in the 3 pack - a listing that has no reviews. Did I do the wrong thing? What should I do?

Best Practices for Practitioner Listings on GMB

Technically you are allowed both a listing for the practice and the forward facing practitioner.

While it can be annoying to have your personal named GMB listing show up, think of it as extra coverage.

Get some reviews on it as well, make sure your citations are in order. Create a robust G+ profile for it.

Then again you can always ask Google to merge them. Very little chance that it will be successful but you can try.
