Targeting Medical Practices

It seems like a lot of medical practices have been consolidated... getting bought up by hospitals and whatnot. This isn't the case, seemingly, for dental practices, for example. As our agency isn't looking to target hospitals but rather small, local, medical practices, what has worked for you? What type of practices perhaps have you found better or worse success with?
