One of our smb's is contemplating a Google Business view photo session. that is the 360 degree photo's that will sit in the Google knowledge box for your business.
I have some questions and concerns:
First: Who has used it? Any experiences to relate post implementation?
I have some concerns. The main one being that installation of this view in the Google KB (knowledge box) makes it "that much more attractive rather than the link to the web site. We want people to go to the website, not to the knowledge box.
Over the long term we see less web traffic as reported by our analytics. We also know via the phone that people call us and they see the web less. They could easily be calling us off the KB info rather than off the site.
Google owns the KB. We don't. Can we take the photo down?
Ultimately the question is does the 36 degree photo help? How do you know that? After installing do you see more or less traffic? Can you use it elsewhere to promote the site?
All and any insights appreciated.
