I'm trying to add a URL to a new client's GBP, but Google keeps rejecting it without providing a reason. I've done some research and the common issues don't seem relevant to this client. I've also submitted a ticket to Google and attempted to suggest an edit from a separate account, which hasn't been successful yet. I've seen a few other people report similar issues online, but haven't found any actual answers yet. If anyone know how to fix this issue, I'd greatly appreciate some help. Thanks.

You mean google will literally not save the url/reject the change later, or that it gets accepted, only to be systematically reverted later? These can have different causes, but I only know of two situations that can cause the second (of course there may be more), and no specifics about the first (I've only had that happen for one client).

Solution
It will allow me to enter the URL pending approval, but it keeps getting rejected after a few minutes. It looks like Google Support just replied to my request and said to give it 24-48 hours to update on their end now. Hopefully that will fix it, but it's strange that this only happens occasionally for no apparent reason.
