Moving a SAB to a new location with a storefront

We are about to move one of SABs to a new location that has a storefront and will be switching it to show the address. While reading through other forums someone had a similar situation and a user responded by saying that moving an SAB was 'GPB death'. They then recommend making a whole new profile and then contacting support to have the old GPD moved and not merged. My thought is when we move the GBP it will retrigger verification and then be done with it. Has anyone faced a similar situation or have any insight?

Moving a SAB while keeping it as a SAB is basically impossible.

Moving to a visible address is fine and even highly recommended because SABs are outright demoted in ranking against physical locations in many cases.

You will have to do a full reverification at the new address, so be ready for that. And be aware that if you ever hide the address again, rankings will probably "snap back" to the original validation address.
