Is there a way to open up a case with Google to provide more information that a review is fraudulent?

I have a client that is a medical practice. They had a very negative review posted to the practice GBP accusing a doctor of malpractice and some other shady things. Thing is ... the doctor hadn't even started there yet, so it's obviously a case of a rogue competitor, angry patient, scorned lover ... whatever!

Is there a way to contact someone to start up a conversation since there's not option to leave notes when you flag a review in the account? Or a different way to flag?

SIDE QUESTION:
Do you think this review is something they would actually remove? Or would they just let this go as it doesn't CLEARLY violate any guidelines?

** MALPRACTICE UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE ** **Dr. Tom Smith*** This doctor writes prescriptions without an appointment for people who have enough money to pay! Ridiculous! He was by far one of the worst doctors i have ever encountered! Extremely rude and unprofessional! Misinformed the patient and treats patient instead of condition.

You can flag the review inside your Google My Business dashboard by following the instructions in this help center document - https://support.google.com/business/answer/4596773?hl=en Select the "Request Review Removal" button.

If the review is still there after five days you can check on the status here - https://support.google.com/business/workflow/9945796

If the review hasn't been removed, select the "appeal" option at the above URL. You should be able to leave more detail at that point.

I think I have discussed this issue before. (And I think others have this same issue unless it's been fixed somhow....?)

Google never gives me the option to check on the status of reviews I have already submitted. All it says is "submit new" and there is no way to check the old ones.

In addition to there being no way to check the review, if I try to resubmit it (I was trying from a different browser) it just keeps saying "Something Went Wrong" with a picture of toast of something, lol.
